She was born in 1970 in Budapest, Hungary. In addition to directing films, she is also engaged in scriptwriting. Graduated at the National Film and Television School in fiction directing. She studied screenwriting at the University of California Los Angeles. Director of countless commercials. Her first feature film the comedy of JUST SEX AND NOTHING ELSE (2005), brought her great public and professional acclaim. Than she directed the history drama of CHILDREN OF GLORY (2006) a film that broke audience records in Hungary. Her next feature film was the thriller of CHAMELEON (2008) won many prestigeous international festival awards, as well as her next drama of HOME GUARDS (2015). She is one of the best known directors in Hungary. Her films won many international festival awards all over the world. The Minister of Hungarian National Cultural Heritage awarded Krisztina Goda the Béla Balázs state prize for the recognition of outstanding activity and artistic and scientific achievement in the field of motion picture. Now she is working on her next feature film, a remake of the italian drama, comedy of Perfetti sconosciuti (2016).
